Love to the God Love Everyone - Huda

Assalaamu'alaikum wa rahmatullah

Special thanks to video maker myiera04 and singers

While trying to finish up the assignment about European Language Issue and Policy, I listened to the song by Huda sisters. Feel quite tensed and trying to recite some verses to speak with Him too. The song is in Malay and titled Sayang-Sayang which means Love. It's basically the advice for children to love everyone. I can't remember when did I first listen to this, hahaha. Last time, I feel nothing when listening to this. But when I am pressured like this I only rewind everything in my mind.

The lyrics more or less says...

Love the God, love the prophet... Love father, love mother... Love the God, love the prophet, love the father and mother, dear the God.

Let us little brothers and sisters listen to this advise. Check on our attitude don't be arrogant. Purify our selves, purify our soul. Follow the the order of the God and leave His prohibitions. Let us love the God, let us love the prophet.

The good morality is the morality of the prophet. Hardworking and fast in assisting others, working hard to get knowledge. Always giving to others signifies generosity. That is the tradition of the prophet, the most appraised. Love the God, love the prophet.

Dear little brothers little sisters, keep in your memory father's contribution to us. Respect him, it signifies love to him. His sacrifice is so big. He finds sustenance to let us grow up.

Dear little brothers little sisters, remember to love mother. She bears us with love, educate without feeling bored nor exhausted. Her face is still cheerful. Go to mother give her a hug, that signifies love. Love the God, love the prophet.

Let us love each other. Love our family, love our neighbors. Among families love neighbors. Love the teachers, love the friends. Love your country, love everyone. Love the God, love the prophet.

Too bad I was not growing up in this kind of situation of Love. My schoolmates were hostile and cold to me too just because I didn't get along well with them due to some differences. Urmm, they didn't actually accept me. Teachers just know how to condemn and humiliate. But not trying to find approaches to help problematic kids. This is not to condemn teaching profession because it is a respected profession but as a self reflect so that teachers could also improve their methods of teaching and psychological approach. Do I care about those kids and teachers who treated me badly last time now???? No, I care nothing... hahaha. I don't even remember their names if I could only remember the tortures that they had cast over me.

Just telling people on what happened 13-15 years ago in our educational institutions. This is not including what happened in primary school. It is terrible... I can't even imagine myself returning to schooling times. It's like returning to hell even when I try to reckon what happened. I can't even find any nice memory at all while I was a primary school student or secondary school student. I'm sure same things happen everywhere in this world. Not unique here but people like us no matter whether the kids were bullied by others, receiving hatred remarks from others, being looked down upon, and others are isolated. Some might commit suicide, or end up as thugs.

However, I wish and pray to Him may future generations of brothers and sisters could receive His Love and Mercy. Just don't be like us the older generations, treat everybody and among yourselves nicely. That's just our fate and we have to bear with it :') People might think I am a retard listening to children's song, hahaha. Who cares... I'm already a retard since long. Even more bad I have to work hard to hide my retarded characters because society were judgmental, full of negative criticisms. This is the period of negativity I guess.

Sealed with prayers for mercy, love, and peace, amin!

Personal Studies Books' Checklist

Assalaamu'alaikum wa rahmatullah

Lord, please help me to get these books in order to reach You... Please be my Friend, Lord. I feel You are leaving me, I am afraid!!! I know I am evil and deceived by the world but please help me, I try to be close to You but I had lost the guidelines. You are the only Guide that I have, please guide me, with Your Mercy :'''

Now, I must stop lamenting myself and stop feeling sorry. No one would be sorry to me if I am in the hell for letting this evil era deceiving me except with Lord's Mercy. Now come to guidelines where we checked our Yemeni counterpart curriculum. Take this out and check whether those books are in the box. If not, try to find them by asking related people.

Guidelines on Studies

1. Memorize each texts studied.
2. Learn meanings and explanations from a teacher, based from lessons on sharh or an interpretive book of the text. This means I need to consult people in Islamic Center and digging up my old notes regarding texts that I am going to learn since I have no chance to return to my old life.
3. Upon completing a text and answering exams, I would be advancing to the next text in the series. I must understand and memorize by heart all the texts learned before changing to other topic.
4. Period expected to complete everything is 4 years. Ya Allah, how many years I had wasted :'(

Sciences of Heart

Risaalat al-Mu'awanah (Book of Assistance)
Check series of Imam al-Haddad
Bidayat al-Hidayah by Imam al-Ghazali

Upon learning, try to find places and environment to perform everything being learned. Don't just learn and keep it inside the closet. Transmit the Mercy and Salvation to universe! In order to do this, I need to improve public speaking skills in Malay, English, Chinese, and Arabic. Try to go out to places around though alone, not anymore time to just meditate in this 'cave.' I will try to make the list of public places, churches, and temples for visits and monitor, inshaallah. Money constraint and mobility? Don't worry, Allah will help. Don't beg for them, it is haraam and a disgrace to ancestors! Try to survive... Regarding Qiyaamullail (Night Vigil), I need to sleep as early as 11 p.m. Sleep with belt, in case if I am lazy to wake up since there is no mum to help me. Try to get Hegira Calender to check prayers time. Lord of Strength please help me, be with me and bring me to straight path :'(

Sealed with prayers for mercy, peace, and love, amin!!!

Ma'thurat II

With the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful the Most Beneficent

Ma'athurat Supplications...

In morning, chant this supplication
O our God, we begin our morning and the evening that will come, with You our life is, and with You is our death, and we are going to be assembled together to see You!

In evening, chant this supplication dear brethren
O our God, we begin our evening and the morning that will come, with You is our life, and with You is our death, and we are going to return to You o Lord!

This supplication is the same for morning and evening
O Lord the One who arranged the heavens and earth, who Knows the hidden and the obvious He testifies, there is no One like You, glory only be to You, indeed I had been cruel to myself (before this morning or evening)!
O Lord my God, I seek Your protection from the wickedness of my self and from the wickedness of Satan and his companies and the differences (of the environemnet) that would change my self into wickedness or its influence on me that made me cease from being a Muslim.
O God, indeed I ask You for every goodness in the world and the hereafter.
O God, indeed I ask You for my deen (law of life). And (please help me manage) my worldly matter and goodness for my family member and my property (to be protected only by You).
O God, please protect me my 'awrat (anything which is hidden that could bring shame to us) and the trust of protecting my 'awrat is (on You my Lord).
O God, please protect me from between my hands. Please protect me from my back, protect me from my right, from my left, please protect me from my front side and from above me and from beneath me (prayer for protection of the evil that comes from every direction) and I seek Your protection from being harmed by my self.

Chant this in the morning
We are in this morning, and the morning in this Kingdom for You, and praise be to God, and You are all Powerful over anything!
We begin this morning with the nature of the submission to You, we begin this morning with sincere words, and on the path of our Patriarch Ibrahim (Abraham), our father, the path which is straight, I am a muslim, and I am not amongst the polytheists!

Chant this to begin our evening
We are in this evening, and the evening in this Kingdom for You, and praise be to God, and You are all Powerful over everything!
We begin this evening with the nature of the submission to You, we begin this evening with sincere words, and on the path of our Patriarch Ibrahim, our father, the path which is straight, I am a Muslim, and I am not amongst the polytheists!

In the evening, chant this supplication after the above evening supplication
O Lord our God, I sincerely beg You to grant me whatever is good from this night to come, and I seek protection from whatever is evil from this night to come!

Then chant this prayer before closing
I seek Your protection of Your perfect words from whatever evil of Your creations!
I am pleased with You as solely my Lord, and Islam as our deen (law of life), and with Muhammad (saw) as our prophet 3 x
It is enough that You as my Lord, there is no one except Him, and I depend only on Him, and He is the Lord of the Great Throne!!! 7 x

Why do we study this lesson brethren?

1. We just want to memorize and understand the ma'athurat. Everyone actually doing this after prayers or before prayers around the world.

2. Ma'athurat is an ibaadat (act of worship) that would bring us into attachment to Allah.

3. Ma'athurat is an invocation according to sunnah tradition and having the root source from scripture, no need other invocations which came from invocations without any clear roots. No need for talisman. God will protect those who never cease to remember Him!

Some of these invocations to Allah are also recorded in Imam Nawawi (may Allah be merciful to him) kitaab. I can't remember the books' title because I had just memorized them for my personal invocations whenever I am alone. But as to say, I could not only let my self stepping into salvation, I must also help other brethren.  Everyone deserves the right into salvation in this world or hereafter.

So, I am sharing this hope God won't be angry with me and does not assume me a stingy. I don't care if you could find this in other sites, but I am just performing my responsibility as a fellow Muslim in this site. Whatever good must go to my brethren, let alone bad things being destroyed by Lord of the Universe!

How to memorise ma'athurat? You may find various kind of ma'athurat but the root is still the same from Quran and authentic Sunnah tradition. Some of the kitaab may come with references at the footnotes. Usually I love to give any brother or sister this ma'athurat for their own good and also as a present. I would encourage other brothers and sisters do the same. Circulate the Quran and Sunnah to each other for practises.

How to memorize?

1. You may memorize them with your friends, choose a friend you are familiar with, I mean your close friend that you are not feeling shy with. As for me I memorized it from the text alone because last time I had lost all of my friends and many of my previous friends are not even mosque goers. I did it alone and referring to sounds and listening to imaam in the mosques that I visited.

2. Read these ma'athurat dzikr and du'as in Arabic to each other and correct each other in a polite manner.

3. Make sure you understand the meanings, I had provided the meanings. You may find the text from kitaab or leaflets from Islamic center or mosques. In case of explanation, refer to footnotes about the sources. Make sure they are only from authentic hadiths.

4. Repeat the reading for ten times each of the chantings. It's like you memorize the first chanting 10 times, then go to another chanting 10 times. Then repeat both of them 10 times.

5. Write them out in a clean paper non-stop until you can memorize, I did all of these in mosque. Never at home. Why?  Because we can't concentrate at home and many distractions. At the mosque we could also ask help from merciful brothers to help us if we have problem with the readings and writing. Write them one by one in Arabic script on the clean paper until you could imagine the words and chantings in your mind box.

6. Once you memorized the chantings, immediately practise them before or after Fajr and Maghrib prayers so that you won't forget it anymore. Burn the papers and dispose it according to what had been prescribed by ulamas in order to respect His names and words. Make this a habit to chant the ma'athurat. Even if you forget to chant it in the Fajr and Maghrib chant it when you remember about it.

I do not actually know how to instruct people because I just know about how to practise. I memorized them and implement them in life because I feel it is hard to teach people through words.  Whatever verbal I may show but prayers, I might also need to throw out my voice which I find so hard especially when people never ask me anything. I would assume they already know. But for me, I just know about this about 6 years ago through His guidance.

This site is a way to put whatever I had came accross in the form of words for sharing especially to those who are Muslims but could not reach our community. I know how you feel. Well now it is written, we may say it aloud with our voice. And then we chant it and practise it without any postponement.

It is now the period almost Resurrection, no time for long winding flowery speech but into practises. I hope everyone including my self could receive salvation in this period that we are going through.

Master's level exam experience and bad thoughts

Peace,

Ya Allah! I have a very hard time yesterday answering the exam question. I think it is my own fault cause I have lack of focus during my revision times. Last few weeks I have a problem when the office had put a new roomate into my room. But I could sense that the roomate has a bad intention when he saw me. I am very afraid that I could be slandering people with my thought but it turns out that the old guy might have something wrong with his mind.

He just came by into my room and becoming extra-friendly. It is still ok with me if he just talks. But later he came to my bed and pretending like talking to me as a father to a son. Later massaging me when he said I had red rashes at my neck. I did not ask anyone to massage me and mind, my father never did that to me. Later he talked something in his language which is Indonesian language where I could not really understand. He talked something like the "things" under my pants is something and something. Why do a newly meet friends need to talk about those private things? It is not only that, he moved my stuffs on the table and asking me to onn my computer. As a matter to be polite to elders I just onn it, but I did not realized that he was stalking my password. For the next morning I had forgotten to keep my computer into the closet as I have a morning class. He used my stuffs without consent and starting checking my details in the computer. What kind of person is this?

As to avoid myself from being a victim of sin. I have to run to musalla (surau) at the level beneath first level of our floors. I slept there and trying to gain back my focus by reading some notes before the revision week. I've been several nights there. Now do I understand how the Tabligh guys feel when they sleep in the musalla. It is peaceful there. I don't think that I need to sleep in a room anymore after that. Room is just a place to keep stuffs and to change clothes before prayers.

I went to the hostel's office and trying to complaint about the new roommate. But they asked me to tell them in detail. How could I tell them about that old guy touching me? I could only tell them he used my laptop without consent. I'm still bound to the rule not to tell people about the things that could bring our dignity down by telling others' evil deeds.

I went back home just few days before revision week begin and there I tried to cherish my mother by following her to religious classes at mosques. Besides I learned many new things which are not really new. I just found them new after my repentance. I did not bring my stuffs for exam back because I do not want to see that insolent old guy in my room when I take my stuffs which was locked in the closet after I made complaint.

And when I came back, it is a disaster for me when I answered my Policy Making and Politics in the EU paper yesterday. I feel so guilty toward my parents not to forget my lecturer. Parents gave me money to further my study after a period where I am jobless and just staying in my room. After the exam, bad thoughts do came to me like trying to commit suicide because I feel so ashamed to everyone including to Allah but I quickly realized that it is a grave sin by trying to take our own life without Allah's permission. If I killed myself I still have to answer Allah and how could I turn up myself in front of Him? O Allah, please forgive me my sin from my bad thoughts! I am a useless slave of You.

Anyway what had happened had just happened. Maybe this is a kaffarah (payments) to all of my sins or simply another test for me because Allah might want to see my faith. I still believe Allah will save me no matter what happens. So I will try to hold on here. It is already a past. Now will determine the future. I still have other three papers. I will try to get my focus back with the help and guidance from Allah.

May Allah bless everyone and forgiving our sins, Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammad, wa 'ala aali Muhammad!

O the Beneficent!

Peace,

A good prayer delivered by Khaled Zaaher, a Yemeni singer. I don't know how to translate it into English but I can feel the meaning. The calling to the Most Beneficent who grants the prayers of servants and the love toward Him by servants for non-stop blessings and for what He had gives every servant.

This prayer is in Yemeni Arabic. I will also having hard time transcribing the sound because I just learned standard modern Arabic in our evening religious school and in religious secondary school. That is before I turned away and shift to secular school when I was 15 and becoming a anti-hadith or anti-sunna,  beside being a full Buddhist by chanting Three Gems refuge after I am disappointed seeing Muslims attitude. Well, I was 15 at that time. Lord Allah the Most Beneficent still having His Mercy on me although I turned myself away from Him.

O Allah, please forgive me my sins, my ancestors sins, my parents sins, and forgive our brothers and sisters in faith sins, grant us our wishes for good benefits, amin!
