Basically, the surat explains about:
1. Events which would mark the beginning of Resurrection.
2. Human-being is facing difficulties in order to see their Creator where some would receive pleasant happiness while others would be dipped into bitterness.
3. Levels of creations and human life in the worldly realm and hereafter.
This surat was revealed in Mecca upon the noble prophet Muhammad s.a.w and it consists of 25 verses. It is the 84th surat in the compilation of surats of the glorious Quran. The title means the Sundering.
